Rehearsing Freddy Fazbear’s animatronic facial movements.
Five Nights at Freddy’s
Five Nights at Freddy’s is a film based on the popular video game franchise, that we shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. I had multiple roles in this production including Puppet Director/Captain (which means I was in charge of casting & directing the puppeteer team), and as the puppeteer behind Freddy Fazbear, Golden Freddy, and the Torture Chair Freddy. Aside from being a major motion picture, this project was a little different in that instead of performing hand puppets, I was controlling these animatronic characters’ heads (and some of their body movements) using radio controls. So, ironically, it’s a lot like playing a video game! Check out some behind-the-scenes photos of my time at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, and consider booking me on you next project!
