Disney’s The Little Mermaid LIVE!
The Little Mermaid LIVE! was a truly unique experience. Based off of the Hollywood Bowl shows, it was a “live-to-film” event, which means that we would perform live musical numbers, and then it would transition to scenes from the original 1989 animated film. We had a live studio audience, and it would be broadcast simultaneously on ABC. On this shoot I was the Puppet Director/Captain, which means I was in charge of casting & directing the puppeteer team, and in addition, I was the performer for Flounder, the lobster, and some of the other characters. I had the fortune of working with both Auli’i Cravalho (the voice of Moana) as Ariel, as well as Jodi Benson (the original film’s Ariel). Check out some behind-the-scenes photos of my time under the sea, and consider booking me for your next project!
