The Pee-wee Herman Show

     One of my most memorable performance experiences was working with the amazing Paul Reubens in The Pee-wee Herman Show at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Being a big fan of his as a child, it was incredible getting to spend 4 months with Paul, learning from him and getting to know him as a person. In this live stage show, I performed the puppetry for Chairry, Pee-wee’s happy blue chair. It was a full-body costume puppet, in that I was actually inside of the chair, and performed all of her lips sync, and body movements. There was even a part of the show where Chairry stands up and dances with Pee-wee downstage!
