A Very Potter Musical: Rumbleroar
Team StarKid, happy with the “Starship” prototypes made for them, came back to us with another project. This time they wanted us to create a plush of Professor Rumbleroar, the lion character from their parody show “A Very Potter Musical”. We took special time and care to match the designs they sent us, while making sure the finished product had all the qualities of a great plush toy. We supplied them with the finished prototype, fur samples, pantone colors, and patterns to bring to their factory. As you can see, the Professor turned out adorable! Foam mock-up of Rumbleroar. We start with foam to get the shapes just right. From there we pull patterns from it to create the final plush.
Finished version of Rumbleroar. The final product required three types of plush, plastic eyes & eyebrows, fleece for the mouth and nose, two types of vinyl for the hat, & embroidered whisker spots.
