The Rufio Show
“Rufio” is a puppet that I created for a show called The Rufio Show which streamed on YouTube. Based off of the lost boy character from the 1991 Steven Spielberg film, Hook, the show stars Dante Basco (the actor who played Rufio in the film) as himself, and puppeteer & creator Victor Yerrid as the Rufio puppet. To learn more, check out some behind-the-scenes photos below, and consider contacting me to help bring your puppet project to life!
The puppet is made of scott foam & covered with antron fleece.
His costume and jewelry were also custom made.
Rufio’s wig is custom made of faux fur & feather boas.
Original Rufio actor, Dante Basco, & puppet “Rufio” perform a musical number.
Woken up by original “Hook” lost boy actor, James Madio.
