New Girl: Stuart the Big Green Monster Plush
I constructed the giant Stuart plush at Swazzle Puppet Studio, for the TV show “New Girl”. It was meant to be a stereotypical carnival prize. One of the characters in the show wins Stuart and brings him home to their apartment. This Stuart plush was 7 feet tall from his heels to the tops of his horns. He had an L-200 head, and a patterned scott foam body, and was covered in many, many, yards of fur. His teeth, toenails, and fingernails were sculpted soft foam covered in vinyl. Inside was a PVC pipe structure that went through the entirety of his body and tail, allowing him to stand securely like a tripod.
